"J&A's Little Italy serves authentic Italian food al fresco, including excellent pizzas."

"Mouthwatering authentic Italian food served in the riverside garden of an old fisherman's cottage. Cooked in a wood-fired oven, their pizzas are delicious - try the amazing smoked beef, a house speciality."

"In 1995, Jamshed & Ayesha (the 'J&A' of J&A's Little Italy) started the first speciality restaurant in this sunny enclave on the Arabian Sea. Armed with little more than a spirit of adventure and a passion for good food, they have, over the years, established a reputation as the finest Italian restaurant in Goa......"

"J&A's Little Italy, right after crossing the (Baga River) bridge....Excellent, authentic pastas and pizzas."

"A charming colonial cottage set in lush surroundings on the banks of the picture-postcard Baga river. Vintage jazz drifting over candlelit tables. Thirty-year-old shippie Jamshed and 38-year-old Ayesha kickstarted Casa Manolita, the first speciality 'Italian Ristorante' in Goa. The venture then re-invented itself in a yellow, brightly painted old Portuguese house as J&A's in 1998. Ayesha, the foodie, is into Italian cuisine, pampering the palates of her mainly foreign clientele with home made pasta, flavoured with oven-dried tomatoes, imported olives, anchovies and cured meats. 'We are very serious about our work and take our food very seriously. Travelling abroad also helps, because we eat when we travel, so we know what the trends are,' says the lady of the kitchen. Ayesha admits, 'Of course, we have differences. Jamshed is my best friend and worst critic as well. Yet at the end of the day, we trash out all our differences.'"
